WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY

The HR and Payroll Officer has a clear understanding of business objectives and provides general day-to-day HR support in relation to all HR functions. This role works in compliance with statutory obligations, British Council standards and best practices to meet objectives. You will ensure that other compensation and benefit administration is in line with Payroll and HR practices as well as deliver payroll implementation services for the Country and ensures that the payroll, local tax return and local statutory calculation are accurate and within timeline. 

WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT 

You will act as a focal contact point for enquiries on benefit and compensation administration related queries. The Human Resources & Payroll Officer is part of Business Support Services and implements a range of HR processes and transactions as well as regional and global policies for Staff including the end-to-end Payroll processing.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

To be considered, you should have a Bachelor’s degree with knowledge and solid professional experience of handling Philippine reporting requirements and system for SSS, Philhealth, HDMF and BIR. Strong background on Payroll is essential for this role.
