The University of Northampton is the first in the UK and Europe to be awarded the international accolade of ‘Changemaker Campus’ by the Ashoka U, the world’s leading network of social entrepreneurs. This is in recognition recognition of the university’s commitment to social enterprise and the excellence of the opportunities this commitment gives to its students. There are only 24 universities globally that have been awarded the ‘Changemaker’ recognition. SEDPI is a private organization composed of young and dynamic social entrepreneurs who were previously employed in non-government organizations.
