Part stand-up and part storytelling, and—as he reminds—definitely not a proper play, writer, director and performer Daniel Bye will be coming to the Philippines to perform his solo show The Price of Everything, and to ask one of the most subtle but important questions of our times: why do we have to measure absolutely everything in money?
With equal parts of charm and wit, the occasional spark of charisma and lots of milk, Bye will tickle you with bizarre facts and impassioned arguments in this performance lecture / stand-up storytelling show about worth. Comic, provocative, and possibly a tiny bit sad, The Price of Everything is a must if you've ever wondered about the difference between the price of an object and its value.
Catch the show at the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) from 10-11 July and at the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) on 12 July.
