We invite you and members of your organisation to a two-part webinar series on writing a research proposal for international collaboration. The webinars aim to support early-career researchers and potential applicants for the Newton Agham Programme on the standards of proposal writing for a research grant.

In our first webinar, Newton Fund Institutional Links grantees Dr Manuel Dayrit and Professor Cameron Johnstone will share their expertise and experience in drafting research proposals and collaborating with an international partner. Dr Manuel Dayrit is an Adjunct Professor and former Dean of the Ateneo School of Medicine & Public Health. Professor Cameron Johnstone is Director of the Energy Systems Research Unit at the University of Strathclyde, UK.

The webinars will also include:

  • talks on planning the budget allotment, and mapping timelines
  • tips on meeting eligibility for an ODA*
  • grant advice about remote collaboration.

This discussion is open for all. Join us through accessing this link 5 minutes before the start of the webinar.
