The British Council is looking for a consulting firm to conduct and write the CSO SEED Final Evaluation with Case Studies. 

Under the overall direction and guidance of the CSO-SEED Project Director and in close collaboration with the CSO-SEED Project Manager, the Consultant will complete/deliver the following:

  1. Inception report including project background, methodology, workplan, key references/resources, data collection instruments for approval of the British Council;
  2. Preliminary draft of the Summative Evaluation Report and Case Studies
  3. Final Summative Evaluation Report with Case Studies

In addition to these major outputs, the consultant shall:

  1. Attend all meetings called for by the British Council project team;
  2. Provide his/her contact information as well as names and contact information of any technical assistants that will be involved in the evaluation;
  3. Report timely updates regarding the evaluation work and communicate any concerns that need urgent attention;
  4. Prepare presentation files and discuss preliminary draft of outputs before the British Council project team for review and approval;
  5. Revise the report and case studies based on the British Council project team’s comments;
  6. Follow the prescribed report outline as shown in Annex D; and 
  7. Accomplish the assigned tasks within the specified timeline described below

Reporting 

The consultant will update the British Council on progress and findings throughout the project to be agreed between the Parties, through monthly updates. 

The consultant will report to the Head of Society, who will be available for any questions or concerns throughout the consultancy.

Budget

The expected total budget for this consultancy will be around €25,000 (VAT included). In addition to the professional fees agreed upon by the Consultant and the British Council, eligible transportation costs will be covered by the British Council The payment schedule is expected as follows:

50% €12,500 Upon signing of the contract and submission of Inception Report
30% €7,500
Upon submission of the initial draft of the report and case studies
20% €5,000 Upon submission and acceptance of the final report by the British Council
