CSO-SEED, a European Union funded project and co-funded and implemented by the British Council, in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry ARMM is happy to announce the call for applications for Local Changes: Ideas to Impact, a Social Enterprise Ideation Camp from 26 November to 3 December 2017. The Camp aims to bring together diverse individuals who would like to explore their creative side while offering a space to exchange, foster thinking and collaboration about groundbreaking social innovation through social enterprise. Ideas generated during the camp that best fit the criteria gets seed funding of Php 100,000 each and one-year mentoring support for implementation.

The Local Changes: Ideas to Impact call for is open to youth organisations, civil society organisations, cooperatives, community or people’s organisations and social enterprises seeking to deepen their social impact in a more sustainable manner through entrepreneurship. The fund will provide support to organisations to help them improve their communities through a social business or enterprise.

This year, we are looking for changemakers from the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao and other Bangsamoro communities. Through this initiative, CSO-SEED hopes to encourage a special breed of entrepreneurs – changemakers and a new generation of leaders who can use social enterprise to create visions for a better, secure and more prosperous future.

Am I eligible?

The person we are looking for:

  • Must be a Filipino citizen
  • Must have a social enterprise idea or a social enterprise that is operational for less than two years

NOTE: Applications can be in teams, but camp management will only accept up to two representatives per team.

Do I have to pay for the camp?
