Central Mindanao University (CMU) is one of the leading state universities in the Philippines. Dubbed as the Academic Paradise of the South, it lies at the foot of Mount Kalayo (Musuan Peak), its famous landmark. It offers affordable yet quality education in an environment very conducive to learning. It is a level 4 university with four Centers of Excellence and two Centers of Development.
CMU offers Engineering, Nursing, Human Ecology, Arts and Sciences, and Business Management programmes. These curricular programmes are accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities (AACCUP).
Recently, CMU received its official ISO certification 9001:2015 Quality Management System awarded by the certification body of TuV SuD, Asia Pacific TuV SuD group, and its QS 3-Star Institution Rating awarded by the Quacquarelli Symonds.
