Students from University of Santo Tomas (UST) and University of San Carlos (USC) are set to leave for the UK in September 2018 to begin their postgraduate degrees jointly developed by their universities and their respective UK university partners.
Three faculty members from USC will take Joint Masters Programme in Arts and Design with Cardiff Metropolitan University for a year, while five faculty members from UST will undertake Dual PhD Built Environment/Architecture at the University of Reading and are expected to complete in three years.
This joint and dual programme is the first of its kind in the country and the pioneer student cohorts are faculty members who will deliver the Transnational Education (TNE) programmes in the Philippines.
