Starting 21 June 2026, all IELTS tests will be delivered on computer, providing a faster, more efficient and streamlined testing experience.
There are different IELTS test types available in the Philippines. You can take IELTS test on a computer at one of our official British Council test centres or take IELTS Online. Either way, you will be taking exactly the same IELTS test, with the same test content and structure.
You will answer the Listening, Reading and Writing sections on a computer at one of our official test centres. The IELTS Speaking test will still be face-to-face with a trained IELTS Examiner, as this is the most effective way to assess your speaking skills.
With IELTS on computer you have more test dates to choose from - and your results will be available within 1 to 2 days.
*Results for IELTS on computer are usually available within 1 to 2 days after you finish all components of your test. Please note that if the result release day falls on a weekend or public holiday, the test report form (TRF) will be distributed on the next working day.
