You may also request for your results to be sent to you by courier free of charge for local addresses. A fee of Php1,400 will be charged for international adresses.
You will not be able to obtain your results over the phone, by email or by fax.
Test report form (TRF)
You will receive one copy of the Test Report Form. Unfortunately, replacements cannot be issued if you lose it.
Additional test report forms (TRFs) for institutions
We can forward copies of your IELTS results or the IELTS Test Result Form (TRF) to recognising institutions and organisations following submission of a request form and the payment of the applicable courier fee. The courier fees are Php1,400 for international address and Php250 for local embassies.
Candidates who avail of the paid courier service will be given a tracking or air waybill number to confirm delivery of the TRF. Results will be forwarded within five working days of receiving the request or 10 working days for requests paid through bank deposit.
Institutions may be able to view candidates’ scores through the IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Verification Service. To do this they will need your TRF number which can be found in the bottom right corner of your TRF.
The validity period of your test report form
Institutions will not usually accept a Test Report Form that is more than two years old. After this time, you will need to provide them with evidence that you have maintained or improved your English since taking the test.
Understand your IELTS scores
IELTS provides results for all levels of English: there is no such thing as a pass or fail. You will be given a score from zero to nine for each part of the test – Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

How to query your score
You can choose to undertake an Enquiry on Results (EOR), which means having your IELTS test re-marked, if you are unsatisfied with your results. This must be done within six weeks from the test date. You can choose which sections of the test you want to have re-marked. Your test will be sent to the head office for re-marking by Senior Examiners.
There is a fee for the Enquiry on Results service, which will be refunded in a form of a cheque should your score change as a result of the re-marking. The fees are as follows for each type of exam:
- £60 for the IELTS test
- £100 for the IELTS for UKVI test
- £75 for the IELTS Life Skills test
The fee is multiplied by our monthly bookkeeping rate.
The Enquiry on Results Service may take up to eight to ten weeks to complete. To request for re-marking, you will need to submit the following either in person or via post:
- Completed Enquiry on Results form
- Original copy of your Test Report Form (TRF)
- Fee for remarking
Please contact us for the current bookkeeping rate.
Can I re-take the test?
You can take the test as many times as you wish. However, please note that in order to significantly improve your score it is necessary to undertake further study. IELTS research indicates that scores are unlikely to improve without further English language training or practice.
