Where can you take IELTS in the Philippines?

We offer a range of convenient test dates in Manila, Baguio, Bacolod, Batangas, Cabanatuan, CDO, Cebu, Dagupan, Davao, Iloilo, Laguna, Leyte, Naga, Pampanga and Tagaytay. You can choose to take IELTS on paper or on a computer. Whichever you prefer, you will need to come to a test centre to sit your test. Find out more.

Test schedule / timings.

Your Listening, Reading, and Writing sections of the test will be completed on the same day with no break in between. During the pandemic, we are running tests in the morning and in the afternoon. All sessions allow social distancing. Morning sessions are usually between 9.00 am and 12.00 pm. Afternoon sessions are usually between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm.

If you take IELTS on paper, your Speaking test will take place on a different day to the other sections of the test, in a 7-day window before or after the main test day. You will receive an email confirming your Speaking test date 48 hours in advance.

Choose your Speaking test slot

You can choose your Speaking test slot whether you take IELTS on a computer or on paper. If we need to change your slot during the pandemic, we will notify you by email or phone.

If you are taking the test in a venue other than The Curve in BGC, we require that you present one of the following on your test day:

Proof of full vaccination (actual vaccination card or certificate). A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their last dose.
Paper proof (hard copy) of a negative Covid-19 antigen test a day before the first test component.
Paper proof (hard copy) of a negative RT-PCR test taken up to 72 hours before the first exam component.
If you have recently recovered from Covid-19, paper proof (hard copy) of full recovery from your healthcare professional that you have been cleared of Covid-19 within six months before your test date.

All candidates taking the test at The Curve (BGC), Systems Plus Computer College (Cubao) and CPILS (Cebu) will have to provide proof of full vaccination, in line with the building’s policy.
